April is Poetry Month! And I’m taking up the 30-day challenge to write one poem a day! There are different ways to take up the challenge. Some people follow prompts, write collective poems, and there’s a website to help: National Poetry Writing Month. I’m gonna complete the challenge by continuing the Haiku from the Headlines series. I’ll also be sharing a poem a day over on the Facebook and the Twitter. This is first entry.

Billionaire Pastor kills brother, commits suicide

From what walks on earth
did they come seeking solace,
counsel, Holy help?
The congregation:
their woes greater than his cash,
their hopes his faulty pride.
Fifteen-thousand strong
of all the tragic stories
his unbearable.
You have the money?
Only He provides.
